Aki Gallery is the gallery not only specializes in Taiwan young artists but devotes to curate excellent exhibitions. Founded in 2002, Aki Gallery has been presenting exhibitions monthly and received positive feedback from collectors and curators. With a 3 floor white cube space Aki Gallery is locating in MinTsu W. Rd, where Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Yuanshan Metro Station are just in the walking distance.
In order to expand the visibility of Taiwanese Contemporary art works, Aki gallery continuously participates in various art fairs around the world, cooperating with the international curators, galleries and academic institutions. So far Aki’s projects had been toured to Germany, France, Japan, Switzerland, China, as well as brought in outstanding international contemporary arts to Taiwan. Aki had participated in those important Art Fairs: Art Fair 21/ Germany, Diva /Paris, Scope / Basel, ArtBeijing /China, ShContemporary / Shanghai, Art OSAKA / Japan, Art Taipei / Taiwan, Young Art Taipei /Taiwan and so on. In 2007 Art Beijing, Aki Gallery was selected as one of the “Top 10 Most Influential Galleries” among all the participators, Art Beijing highly approved the many years’ efforts that Aki Gallery has been cultivated in Taiwan Contemporary Art. |
